Virginia Breeze Bus Lines is an intercity bus service that connects communities across the Commonwealth through four routes: the Valley Flyer, the Piedmont Express, the Capital Connector, and the Highlands Rhythm. Our routes serve the New River Valley, the Shenandoah Valley, the Piedmont Region, the Southern Racing Region, and Northern Virginia.
With affordable fares, accessible buses, and multiple routes, we’re making it easier for Virginians to travel the state to visit friends and family, explore the Commonwealth’s cities and towns, and get things done.

What Is Intercity Bus Service?
Intercity bus service is available to the general public and operates with limited stops between two or more urban areas not in close proximity. DRPT’s intercity bus service operates on a regularly scheduled fixed route, and all buses are capable of carrying luggage. The schedules for intercity bus service coordinate with longer-route bus services and often provide connections to the national intercity bus network.
